Navigate Commercial Finance is delighted to have supported the management buyout of Harboro Rubber Co, a Market Harborough-based specialist rubber moulder with more than 130 years of heritage.
Founded in 1894 and previously owned by the Briggs family for six generations, the business has now passed to managing director Michael Fallis-Taylor. The seven-figure facility, arranged with HSBC UK, has enabled him to take full ownership as James Briggs steps back.
The funding will support investment in research and development, expansion of the iconic Dainite shoe sole range, new technology, lean manufacturing and a strengthened management team. The company is targeting 10% annual turnover growth over the next five years while preserving its craftsmanship and values.
